DAY I - Saturday, 17th March
Great walk today with the tour operators that will be developing the “Caminhos de Santiago” from Porto in Benelux. We were lucky enough to show them some of the most beautiful views from the coastal path between Caminha and Vila Nova de Cerveira. Now we´re off to Ponte de Lima, one of the oldest villages in Portugal and a huge roman mark for those who walk, cycle, or drive their way to Santiago de Compostela!
DAY II - Sunday, 18th March
Our Sunday began in Braga, one of Portugal´s most religious cities. Our Benelux tour operators had the chance to get to know the area, where those who travel to Santiago may pay their respects in one of the existing baroque churches. Barcelos was our second stop, home to the 13th century legend that led to this ceramic cockerel, a portuguese symbol of good luck!
