The Morgadio da Calçada have six bedrooms and can accommodate 16 people and children under 12 years. This is a great seventeenth century manor hous, located in the village classified (winemaking) of Provesende, in the Douro Valley, the most representative architecture erudite throughout the region.
The rooms have been restored to the old barns using a contemporary architectural language. Have a pool built in the ancient ruins of a former wine warehouse of Port Wine. Wine Tourism facilities are surrounded by 4.5 ha of vineyards where wines are produced with the brand Morgadio da Calçada, labeled by the architect Siza Vieira and architect Michel Toussaint, and its winemaker Dirk van der Niepoort, the which is a partnership between the sidewalk of Morgadio da Calçada and well known wine company Niepoort.
In addition to the production of wines, whose sale is available to those who visit us are even soaps made with olive oil and port wine following an old recipe of the house as well as beeswax candles and Port Wine.
